Rob Thielke, president
of Vern Fonk Insurance and the face behind the company's wild TV commercials,
died Sunday at the age of 50. His family said he had been battling cancer. Thielke
climbed his way from an insurance agent in 1989 to company president in 2013.
Vern Fonk saw rapid growth with Thielke's help, the company said in a news
release announcing his death, expanding to 23 locations in Washington and
Oregon.Rob enjoyed dreaming up ideas for TV commercials even before we had
hired a production company," said Craig Rexroat, Chief Operating Officer
at Vern Fonk. REST IN PEAACE ROB THIEKE.~~Ãl (Alex-Alexander) D. Girvan.
