Processed Meat ‘Early Death Link'- Strictly Under Human Control.

Do you have any idea, at all, of what you are talking about- you know, those things that you grew up knowing, those things everybody knows ALL ABOUT; or a least likes to BELIEVE they do?
Another recent study, this time across Europe, of half a million people, but, it is reasonable to conclude that any study conducted in Canada; or anywhere else in the world; would produce similar results; suggests that bacon, frankfurters, ham, HAMBURGER PATTIES, luncheon; all other sausages, and HIGHLY PROCESSED MEATS; appear to increase the risk of dying young. It concludes diets high in processed meats were linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer and other causes of early death. The study followed people from 10 European countries for nearly 13 years on average. The researchers said salt and other chemicals used to preserve or decontaminate meat may damage health.
The British Heart Foundation, who would seem to forget that almost all meat products presently contain ”pink slime” and so should be classified as HIGHLY PROCESSED suggested opting for leaner cuts of meat.
While the studies did show people who ate a lot of HIGHLY PROCESSED MEATS were also more likely to smoke, BE OBESE, and have other behaviours known to damage health researchers said even after those risk factors were accounted for, HIGHLY PROCESSED MEATS still damaged health.
OF THE PEOPLE FOLLOWED, ONE IN EVERY 17 DIED. However, those eating more than 160 g of the highly processed meats a day-WERE 44%MORE LIKELY TO DIE. IN TOTAL, NEARLY 10,000 PEOPLE DIED FROM CANCER AND 5,500 FROM HEART PROBLEMS.
Professor Sabine Rohrmann, from the University of Zurich said: “High meat consumption, ESPECIALLY PROCESSED MEAT, is associated WITH A LESS HEALTHY LIFE STYLE; But after adjusting for smoking, obesity, and other confounders; we think there is a great risk to eating processed meat”.
In conclusion; stopping smoking (not giving up smoking-the human body does not like giving up) is more important than cutting meat; but; people must also reduce their consumption of processed meats.
