FREE MARKET, FREE TRADE, FREE RUBBISH- INCLUDING E-COLI, SAMONELLA, AND OTHER POISONING
Free Market: a market in which prices are determined by supply and demand.
Free Trade: international trade free from protectionist tariffs, quotas, etch.
Except for some very obvious reservations; I have nothing against either:
Free Trade: international trade free from protectionist tariffs, quotas, etch.
Except for some very obvious reservations; I have nothing against either:
- Before even considering exporting or marketing, a producer or marketer must first ensure that there is enough to go around "Looking after number one-- FIRST". This means ensuring that the area, country, family, friends, ones self, province; all have an adequate supply at a reasonable price. We must always remember that any producer/marketer is also a consumer--high profit when there is not adequate supply benefits no one.
- Look at the state of World Affairs; SURVIVAL is the name of the game, brother, it is a law of nature-- to PROTECT-- ourselves and what's OURS.
- There are always embargoes sanctions, and tariffs, just go across the USA border and you soon find out.
- Free market and so called Free Trade still allow for price manipulation through HOARDING and TAXES. Just look at the USA; a country that is virtually bankrupt and has been for years. That country still manages convince other countries that "THEY"are the ones that are DEPENDENT and, by so doing, are able to hoard approximately 25% twenty five percent of the world's oil supply.
- "Free Marketing" often means exporting quality items, in order to obtain a higher profit then importing inferior goods into this country; which can then be sold at an artificially high profit, BECAUSE NOTHING ELSE IS AVAILABLE--just look at some of the appliances,"leather" belts, clothing, kitchen products, shoes etch now being marketed in our (US ) owned department stores. I believe I have proven my point
- The true indication of a healthy country and economy is whether or not everyone has adequate clothing, employment, food, health care, housing, means of travel, yes, and leisure recreation at a reasonable and affordable price.
- In Canada, the price of our food (much of it twice or more; what it is in the USA), the price of gasoline and oil (of which we are exporters) is not reasonable.
- In a prosperous economy everyone, ALL PEOPLES-- MUST BE ABLE TO-- not only SURVIVE but to PROSPER . Resources, the fruits and products of OUR country BELONG TO ALL CANADIANS and should be shared by ALL CANADIANS.
